In the beginning..

I started skiing in 2004 when I went as part of a university ski trip. 3 days later I was hooked. I have since ski'd in France, Italy, USA, Switzerland and Austria. In terms of skiing I have been lucky enough to have now completed around 18 weeks in the last 5 years! Money well spent. I still find it very enthralling and enjoy the thrill of improving and trying to ski well off piste. Each year I try to ski at least 2 weeks in two different resorts, and to facilitate this I either work for a ski company or I organise my own independent ski trips. These usualy go to a French Sports centre (UCPA) and the groups are around 50 in size. Keep in touch if you are interested in joining us on any upcoming trips. Read more..>

Tignes

Tignes, my first but not my last visit. What a fantastic resort. Probably the most expansive area with challenging terrain for all levels that I have ski'd so far...Read more > Tignes Index

Killington Slopes

Killington

A mixed bag really. we ski'd here as part of our Canada trip when Dog Sledding was cancelled due to lack of snow. This resort claimed to be the beast in the East. Well, can't say I'll rush back without knowing it is really waist high in snow. Their reports were very misleading and very few runs were open. Read more..>

Les Orres Group

Les Orres

A small unknown resort to many turned into a real treat when we had 3 foot of snow and clear skies for most of the week. A great New Year dinner as well..Read more..>

Vars

Feeling the strain after a good week skiing in Vars. My first official trip that I took out to the Alps...Read more >

Vars

Flaine

was a great trip despite having rain up to 1900m over the New Year period. We then had 2 days of snow and got to ski in massive dumps of powder. The best day was the last, 3 foot of fresh snow and a clear day. Read more..>

Flaine Danger Sign

Lee Skiing

Lee Emerson doing his thing. Notice how little space he needs. Well I did when he failed to make a turn behind me and took himself out at around 40MPH!!!

Courmayeur

View of some splendid conditions and ample fresh snow, as we glide over the very empty resort of Courmayeur, Italy. What a fantastic ski trip this was with the most consistent fresh snow conditions I have ever skied. Read more..>
